Piedmont Says Goodbye to Dr. DeCoons

Thank you for trusting Piedmont Orthopaedic Complex with your orthopaedic care. We strive to offer excellent medical care with personalized and friendly service, and our success is directly attributable to our incredible team of physicians and medical staff.

We are sad to announce that Dr. Ryan DeCoons will be leaving our practice this summer. His wife recently accepted a prestigious fellowship in Birmingham and he has accepted a position that would allow him to be closer to her.

We will greatly miss Dr. DeCoons and wish him and his family the best in their future endeavors. He is a skilled surgeon who has made a positive impact on the lives of so many of our patients.

We wish you the best, Dr. DeCoons!

Dr. DeCoons will be seeing patients at our clinic up until July 14, after which we invite patients to transfer care to Dr. Bill Barnes.  Dr. Barnes has more than thirty years of experience in orthopaedic surgery and has pioneered many techniques and technologies that have allowed for less pain and shorter recovery times for surgical patients.
